About Me
I developed a passion for jewellery in 2010 during my studies in Visual Art and Contemporary Craft. This passion led me to a sales role at jewellery tool supplier before transitioning to a full-time apprenticeship position at a mass-manufacturing jewellery house in Thebarton.
Driven by a thirst for knowledge, I completed my Diploma in Gemmology and Trade Certificate in 2015.
My deepened connection with gemstones eventually led me to become a theory lecturer and committee member for the Gemmological Association of Australia (GAA), complementing my full-time role as a manufacturing jeweller, retail assistant, and design consultant for a hand-manufacturing house in Adelaide CBD.
In pursuit of continuous growth, I joined an award-winning high-end jeweller in Burnside and grew my involvement with the GAA in the form of practical lecturing.
During the pandemic, I seized the opportunity of online learning to earn my Diploma in Diamond Technology, and during maternity leave last year, I completed my Diploma of Applied Gemmology (Valuation).
I still proudly remain a GAA committee member and look forward to teaching the new generation of gemmologists again in the future.
